Having trained under LA-based producer Miro Mackie (St Vincent, Cold War Kids) to become house engineer at John Steel Singers-owned studio The Plutonium, Aidan Hogg already has an impressive slew of credits under his belt.

With a sharp ear for pop songwriting and a preternatural understanding of what it takes to capture raw, live energy in a recorded format, Hogg’s name can be found in the liner notes of recent releases from countless Brisbane legends like Robert Forster (of The Go-Betweens), Jeremy Neale, WAAX and more. Drawing on insights gleaned from his work alongside powerhouse producers, Hogg prioritises a full realisation of the artist’s vision within the context of a creative space that allows for plenty of room for experimentation.
